Khongoriin Els / Sand Dunes, National Park

Khongoryn Els also called Duut Mankhan is popularly known as the "Singing Sands". It lies within the Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park in Mongolia.

One of beautiful sand dune in the Gobi is the Khongor Sand Dunes that extend 176 km with majestic heights of 15-30 m. The dunes make sound like plane engine in a windy day so it has been named as “Singing Dunes”.
